This was a fun discovery coming out of the tube on the way to our hotel -- we knew we needed to try it and then just kept going back. It was delightful how quickly we became regulars -- the super-friendly baristas recognized and joked with us. (The cinnamon buns are so good!) I'm just sad we don't live there -- it would be great to be full-time regulars. Would recommend for a tasty hot beverage and a breakfast snack. (The weekend food options wane compared with the weekday feast -- but you can grab a coffee and pop into another spot for food if they're out of what you need.)

We need to visit UCL area and find this coffee bar outside Russell Square tube station. It offers some good selection of bakeries and sandwiches, and very good fresh brew coffee! Staff are very friendly and I like the energy! Strongly recommend!

I studied abroad near Russell Square and found this gem. I got coffee here pretty much every day for almost two months. The coffee tastes great, is super affordable, and the pastries are always good too. The people running the stand are some of the warmest and friendliest you will meet, will definitely try to return if I ever come back to the city!

Very well priced and delicious coffees and pastries! 4 vegan pastries out of a dozen, tried 2, and both were amazing, especially when warmed up a bit. I haven’t tried the sandwiches, but will definitely do if they have vegan options. Looks like a local gem, frequented by people who live/work around. I need this street cafe at my doorstep!

If I could give these people 100 stars I would. There is more to a coffee than just the bean. It’s the warm welcome and a smile after a long squashed commute, the small talk and asking how your day is, and the friendly and welcoming environment they bring to an often much grumpy London. The team here are lovely. The coffee is just as good if not better than Costa, Pret and Starbucks and it’s cheaper. They have a great selection of pastries and sandwich’s. There really is no excuse not to get your coffee here. I 100% recommend. You’ll be helping a great local business and a great guy, with a great team. Give it a try and you won’t be disappointed.

Delicious pastries and coffee served by the kindest proprietors. In my 5-day stay in London I had breakfast here every day.

We spent a few days staying at a nearby hotel and stumbled upon Bloomsbury. It became part of our morning routine. Great coffees and pastries and you just gotta love a place where after a few short days your order and face gets remembered. Great way to start a day!!

The customer service is impeccable! The two ladies working were a pleasure to deal with and so very helpful! Right outside Russell Square train station so very convenient location as well. Oh and the almond croissants are amazing!
